- The test helps in figuring out the amount of Bacteria present in the body collectively capable of causing typhoid fever- also referred to as Parathyroid fever.
- More importantly, this is a test that could be used to gauge overall health along with physician advice.
- The test can hence have an accurate view of the immune system and ability to recover. If the person taking the test is experiencing any symptoms of bacterial infection, the test could determine the possible causes for the same. All symptoms of visible weakness can be explained well.

- Before the test is started a sample specimen is collected from the individual.
- No special preparations are needed for the test.
- It might be that the patient has to not eat or drink until the blood tests. And in many cases overnight fasting is preferable. But, it is not mandatory.
